As a first-time mom, and especially as a Black first-time mom, having a doula who would advocate for me was incredibly important. Everything was new, and I wanted to truly understand what was happening and, above all, to be heard. Ashley made that possible.

I have never felt so comfortable with someone so quickly. From our very first meeting, she explained things clearly, validated what I was feeling, and helped me understand how to manage whatever came up. Throughout the process she felt like a friend and a sister.

Having her with me in the labor room and during postpartum meant the world. She also handled doctors who weren’t always open to working with a doula with complete professionalism and, most of all, kindness.

I highly recommend Ashley to any mom looking for support, understanding, and a true advocate

I was really struggling with getting my daughter to latch on after she was born. Breastfeeding was really important to me and the hospital tried but she just would not latch on. They suggested that I hire a lactation consultant so I reached out to my insurer to see and they got me in contact with Nine. I reached out to set up a consultation by video call which made things so much easier. Then Ashley came to my house and showed me so many different techniques! My baby latched on! I started to cry because I was so happy I am a first time mom and its stressful. Even after the appointment she still reached out to me to check on me! She is so amazing! I can not thank you enough Ashley! You are so so thoughtful and patient! May God continue to bless you and your business!

I called Ashley very late in my pregnancy and I wasnt sure if she could help. She was so kind and helpful. We set up an appointment and talked about my needs. We went through a birth plan even if it was a C section the doctors listened to our plan and I was able to have the experience I couldn’t have with my other C sections. She made me feel comfortable stayed with me throughout the surgery and when I was in the postpartum room. Also insurance covered everything! Ashley was so amazing! She made sure my birth plan was what I envisioned and worked with my birth team to make sure we were all on the same page. From being able to birth in the position I wanted to keeping my placenta to delayed clamping and immediate skin to skin she was vocal and gave me and my husband the confidence we needed to trust the process!! So excited to see what you do not only for the community but for Women’s Health as a whole. You have a FOREVER patient in me!! Thank you again!
